Rally is a community newsletter and event series for AI builders in San Francisco. This page explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it. Plain English. No dark patterns.

What we collect

  • Your email address when you subscribe to the newsletter.
  • Your name and email when you RSVP to a Rally event on Luma. Luma shares attendee info with event hosts.
  • Which newsletter emails you open, which links you click, which event pages you visit.
  • Survey responses, if you fill one out.

Why we collect it

  • To send you the newsletter you signed up for.
  • To learn which events and topics are working so we can do better ones.
  • To invite event attendees to subscribe to the newsletter. One time, opt-in.

We don't sell your data. We don't run ads. We don't share your email with sponsors.

What you can do

  • Unsubscribe from the newsletter using the link at the bottom of any Rally email.
  • Ask us to delete your data by emailing hello@rallysf.com. We'll confirm within a week.
  • Ask to see what we have on you at the same address.

Changes

If we change how we handle data in a meaningful way, we'll update this page and note the date at the top.
